    A few years ago I wrote an article titled “Where Did They Use That Image?” where I did some searching for licenses of my images sold through Getty Images to see if I could figure out where they ended up. Today I noticed that Forbes had licensed one of my images, so I decided to see if I could find it.

    The first part of my trip over, it was time to report for volunteer trail maintenance duty at Iceland’s Thórsmörk National Park. What would it be like to live in a tent for two weeks while repairing sections of Iceland’s most famous hiking trail, the Laugavegur? I was about to find out!

    I wasn’t planning to go that far south. Really, I was going to turn around after Valley of Fire in Nevada and start heading back home. But the online wildflower reports and photos posted by my Facebook friends were too much to resist. I simply had to visit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in California.
